'As an artist and a botanist, I am attracted to flowers as a means of portraying the beauty of nature. I have found that the transparency of the watercolour medium is perfect to capture the delicate and fragile nature of flowers. I like to concentrate on the use of opaque colours and collage to enhance the solidity of objects and to increase the feeling of depth and texture.'

Recently Rhonda has developed a passion for water scenes depicting it in its various facets.

Now living and painting in Switzerland, Rhonda teaches watercolour techniques to students at home and in both Canada and the U.K. Her paintings can be found in private collections in Australia, Europe, Japan, U.S.A. and Canada.
